Average main course: $17On weekends at Melanthios, whole pigs and lambs turn on an open spit, crackling and spitting sparks and infusing the air with smoke. But don’t be fooled; unfortunately, all that spit’s doing is drying out the meat. This might be Lakeview, but to do this right, stick with Greektown classics: loukaniko flavored with bits of orange rind, lamb chops crusted from the grill or—why not?–saganaki, flamed tableside.
