A collaboration between Debonair Social Club and chef Bryan Moscatello (a Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2003), Storefront is a slick, stylish space vaguely derivative of Blackbird (though larger). Unfortunately, the food isn't in as good taste as the room; Lamb arrived evenly medium-rare and tender, but strangely unseared. Just-overcooked monkfish was plated with greasy, mushy fried rice. And though desserts appeared ambitious, they ranged from undistinctive (chocolate-espresso cake) to unpalatable (parsnip cake).
