It's a testament to the power of BYOB (even with a $5 corkage) that the antique tables at this neighborhood spot fill up on weekends. To be fair, a bottle of wine and a couple of the simpler small plates, such as burrata with cold grilled zucchini or a rich white-bean soup, wouldn't be such a bad night out. But the main courses—meatballs that look and taste like overcooked hamburger patties, salmon served with not one but two strange sauces—are sorry to behold, no matter how much you've had to drink.
