Thai Dang (L2O, Ria) is the chef at this progressive Asian spot, and here he’s not pushing Asian flavors forward so much as he’s executing them traditionally and, for the most part, well. We’re not big fans of the cocktails or the plate of peel-and-eat fruit offered for dessert, but there’s plenty to like in between: sweet and spicy ribs, a punchy papaya salad and a simple chicken with garlic and scallions. The flavors are nothing new, but on a Sunday night, when the restaurant offers three courses for $29, it’s hard to argue with the value.
