The unlikely concept for this restaurant (which has the appearance of something that wants to become a chain) is waffle sandwiches, a.k.a. sandwiches where waffles are the bread, a.k.a. the food every stoned teenage boy dreams of. The waffles themselves are impressively light and crispy, and when topped (these "sandwiches" are best tackled with fork and knife) with crisp fried chicken and spicy slaw, it's surprisingly satisfying. Skip the soft and mushy pork, though. And skip the milkshake—go for a dessert waffle (say, the one topped with tiramisu?) instead.
