The South Side’s loss is the North Side’s gain. A Chicago staple for almost 70 years, this family-run shop recently closed down all three of its South Side locations, packed up its famous sausage recipes and moved to Lincoln Park. Polishes, brats, corned beef and dogs are made in-house, sold by the pound or grilled right in front of you and served with freshly prepared kraut and pierogi. Grab a lager or Chardonnay at the adjacent specialty shop and take some authentic Polish mustard and horseradish home with your smoked links.
