Like the popular Benihana restaurant chain, Ron of Japan’s chefs prepare your food in the teppanyaki-style—on a sizzling iron plate set into each table. Each grilled meal (choices include filet mignon, lobster tail, chicken breast and tofu) is served with two shrimp kogane-yaki (an appetizer topped with an egg-yolk sauce), chicken soup, a salad, veggie rice, green tea and dessert. Not only do you get a meal, but, as with all teppanyaki-style dining, you also get a table-side culinary performance from the restaurant’s knife-wielding chefs.
