Order the albóndigas, soft meatballs with hints of herbs and an addictive tomato sauce. Move on to sizzling shrimp and skewered beef tips with soft caramelized onions. Sure, the paella begs for some rice that’s been crisped by the pan (there is none), and the patatas bravas are alternately perfect and undercooked. But can you remember the last time you ate at a tapas joint that wasn't anything more than a culinary theme park, with Disneyland-quality food to match? Neither can we.
