Off Chances at Danny's | Hook-up spots
Track down singles in the wild at these untamed parties.

This monthly party started as something queer and feminist and genderqueer and body-positive and antiracist. But in classic heteros-following-homos fashion, the party now attracts a barrage of straight folks, too. So what’s the common thread? There isn’t one. Unless you count being in your twenties and drinking bourbon. Or having a look that ironically references Molly Ringwald and/or includes a pair of Lab Rabbit eyewear. Early in the evening (like, 10pm) these folks act like the cute, awkward hipsters they are and mainly stick to themselves and their friends. Later in the evening, though, it’s not atypical to find folks making out in the bathrooms. 1951 W Dickens Ave (773-489-6457). Second Tuesday of every month.—David Tamarkin
