Think looking at famous boobs all day at Mr. Skin would be an awesome job? Yeah, it pretty much is.

MIKE MCPADDEN
head writer
Skinployee since 2003
McPadden, 41, is charged with translating Mr. Skin founder Jim McBride’s unabashedly juvenile personality into site content. But because he can’t simply use the words boob and bush over and over, one of the Brooklyn native’s challenges is coming up with new terms for female body parts. Among his favorites is mush, which he says “is like muff and bush combined.”
McPadden has been in and out of the skin business his entire career, bouncing between jobs at Hustler and Celebrity Skin, and mainstream ad copy–writing gigs for Internet start-ups. He also published his own ’zine in the ’90s, Happyland, which chronicled the dying days of Times Square as a porn and peepshow mecca. Recruited by McBride, McPadden calls the job a dream come true.
“There’s nothing to get sick of for me,” he says. “Because I love naked ladies and I love movies. And they keep making more of both.”
