57 ways to amp up your sex life
From sexperts, TOC staffers, burlesque performers, adult toy store owners and average readers, too.

Try our new sex position: The TOC Twist. Works for couples of all genders, assuming one person wants to put something (a penis? Dildo? Vibrator?) pleasurably into the other person. Prereqs: Good knees, something to insert.
1. The insertive partner sits down on the bed or floor with his or her legs outstretched (sort of like an L shape). Then the receptive partner kneels to sit on his/her partner’s lap, facing him/her. Slide down on the penis or dildo.
2. Your torsos can touch as you kiss, but if the partner on top is feeling flexible, lean back into a backbend, resting the back on the partner’s legs.
3. Here’s the (patent-pending) TOC Twist: The bottom partner lies down, and the other pivots 180 degrees to face away from the bottom partner (all while keeping the penis/dildo inserted) and continues the ride in reverse. —Debby Herbenick, TOC sexpert
I TRIED IT!
Overall, the Twist worked very well. It’s basically taking a modified cowgirl position and spinning it to become a reverse cowgirl. The spin was easier than we expected and we even put our own stamp on things by hanging out in the 90-degree position for a while. My partner wasn’t a huge fan of the starting position (he was sitting up with legs out in front) because he felt as if he couldn’t thrust and couldn’t get very deep penetration. However, we both love, love, love the reverse cowgirl, so that’s where we spent most of our time. —female TOC staffer
