Bonnie & Clyde's opens a 'secret hideout'

Just like the real life outlaw duo Bonnie & Clyde needed a secret hideout, it turns out the retail version needs one, too. Bonnie & Clyde's suffered water damage in its Wicker Park location twice this month, forcing the owners to shut down operations. Instead of just waiting around to open back up (which will probably be in a new location), the folks behind the shop decided to set up shop in a "secret hideout" in the Gold Coast. The new pop-up shop is at an undisclosed location (although the photo definitely looks like an apartment, right?) and shoppers can only gain access by invitation. The store's clients and their referrals have received invites to book appointments at the secret showroom, and now you, too, can request an appointment to shop by sending an e-mail to info@bonnieandclydes.com or calling 312-576-2218. Just like Bonnie & Clyde's original outpost, the pop-up features a selection of men's and women's clothing from designers such as Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Rad Hourani and more. And remember, the keyword in the shop's title is secret. Case-in-point: All visitors will be asked to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
