LollaShop set to open tomorrow
The countdown to Lollapalooza is officially upon us, and you don’t need to be a Lolla ticket holder to access this pop-up shop (332 S Michigan Ave), located across the street from Grant Park. The store (which opens tomorrow, Friday July 27, through Monday August 6) will stock all Lollapalooza-branded items (including the fest’s official Gap T-shirt) as well as a variety of capsule collections. Look for hipster apparel and accessories from Rad + Refined, Goorin Bros. hats, Sony gadgets and BAGGU bags, including a fest survival day bag ($25) packed with a water bottle and other goods. In addition to merch, the back of the shop will feature a Thompson Hotel lounge (previewing Thompson’s new hotel, set to open next year in the Gold Coast) that offers morning yoga sessions, artist signings, ticket giveaways and more. The first ticket giveaway is set for tomorrow (5–7pm), and considering that Lollapalooza is sold out, this could be your way in. Look for more event updates at Do312.
