Check out the latest temporary stores to pop up in Chicago this season:

Apartment Number 9 Basement (67 E Oak St, 312-772-7106)
Apartment Number 9 is offering a wide selection of Seize sur Vignt pieces out of this Oak Street basement. Well-tailored cotton suits ($980), camel-hair blazers ($760) and low-top suede sneakers ($340) are simply an introduction to the entire collection stocked at the men’s boutique’s main Bucktown location. Open through January 6.

Barbour (2042 N Halsted St, 773-360-7709)
The British heritage brand is offering a variety of winter items in its Lincoln Park pop-up (pictured above). Look for a men’s wax feather jacket ($599), a women’s vintage-looking troop parka ($599) and the sports jacket worn by Daniel Craig in Skyfall ($799). We hear the brand might be opening a longer-lasting space in the Gold Coast in February. Open through January.

Chicago Luxury Beds (900 N Michigan, 2nd floor, 312-527-5337)
You’ll never want to get out of bed with a mattress from this luxurious bedding company. Check out its all-natural horsehair Hastens Proferia ($12,450-$25,900) or top-selling Vi-Spring Signatory ($8,895-$26,495) made with cashmere and Shetland Isle wool. Open through Dec 31.

eDrop-Off (1155 N State St, 773-525-7467)
This high-end consignment dealer has become one of the largest sellers on eBay, and you can stop by this Gold Coast pop-up shop to try on pieces before you bid online. Recent items in the shop include a Mycra Pac ultrasuede long coat, a Marc Jacobs orange leather bag ($107.50) or a Chrome Hearts black leather motorcycle jacket ($355).

The Men's Journal Collection (520 N Michigan)
For the second year in a row, Men’s Journal is coming to Chicago to show off the products from the magazine's “Gear of the Year” list. Look for a Spiegela Beer Connoisseur Set ($50), Rossignol Squad 7 skis ($900) and Triumph Thruxton motorcycle ($8,799). Plus, you’ll be able to watch the Bears on big screens while you shop. Open Dec 6-Dec 23.

Starr Couture (75 E Walton St, 847-962-2207)
This store's owner shops exclusively in Paris and Milan, so expect unique European styles here. Take your pick from mink cocktail bags with jewelry handles ($750), fur-trimmed sweaters ($600–$2,000) and statement jewelry pieces ($350–$1,200). Open through Dec 31.

Topshop/Topman (1925 N Halsted)
This British retailer invades Lincoln Park to feature exclusive Topshop products such as a faux silver fur coat ($178) and jeweled white cocktail dress ($220), as well Topman items like a maroon patterned cardigan ($110) from its Nomad line. Of note: The store is offering happy hour and in-store DJ’s starting at 5pm each day, plus TOC readers have a chance to win a $500 shopping spree. Find more information here. Dec 6–8.
