Hotel Lincoln The complete overhaul of this 12-story Lincoln Park hotel (formerly a Days Inn) has been years in the making, and it looks as if it’s been worth the wait. Joie de Vivre’s first Chicago hotel offers 184 guest rooms, clever artwork (quirky paintings on a lobby wall were sourced from Lincoln Park yard sales), room service from Perennial Virant and a coffee shop featuring La Colombe java. Worth waiting a little longer: the hotel’s soon-to-open rooftop offering new views of the park and skyline. Rates start at $179. 1816 N Clark St (888-378-7994, hotellincolnchicago.com).
