Camera+, $1 Essentially a slick and easy Photoshop for the iPhone, Camera Plus allows you to futz with the focus and exposure, and add borders and filters. An on-screen grid ensures your shots line up right.

Cinemagram, free GIFs—those animated images reminiscent of Ally McBeal’s dancing baby—aren’t going away anytime soon, so why not join the action? This app does the trick, plus it applies vintage and cross-processed (read: super-saturated) filters when you so desire.

Filterstorm, $4 It’s probably the closest thing you’ll find to Photoshop outside of the desktop program. In other words, this one’s for people who want to get detailed photo editing.

IncrediBooth, $1 You don’t have to hit Rainbo Club to take a photo-booth strip of yourself for your sweetheart. This app takes four consecutive photos (four Hipstamatic filters are available for tweaking results), which you can save individually or as a strip to your phone.

VSCO Cam, $1 This one is as simple as it is aesthetically pleasing: nice presets, crisp photos, a simple layout and very user-friendly. Plus, soon the app will offer a sharing function.
Camera+, $1 Essentially a slick and easy Photoshop for the iPhone, Camera Plus allows you to futz with the focus and exposure, and add borders and filters. An on-screen grid ensures your shots line up right.
