How do you describe your style?
My style is professional, but also edgy and on the fringe. I’d say it’s steampunk-meets–formal wear.

Where did you get your bow tie?
Jos. A. Bank—it’s a skinny 1930s throwback.

How did your style develop?
Until I moved to San Francisco in 2004, I didn’t really try anything fashionable. Then I [figured out] the whole hip [versus] not-hip thing.
