  • ReUse First candles

Decorating with old wine and liquor bottles is usually a home-decor look reserved for recent college grads. But we’re digging this Reuse First candles in recycled alcohol bottles (Jameson, Jack Daniels, etc.). The candles are made from soy wax and promise up to 80 hours of clean burning. Time to hit the bottle. $18–$35 at Inkling (2917½ N Broadway, 773-248-8004).

  • Logitech washable keyboard

It doesn’t matter how many times you wash your hands throughout the day, your computer keyboard is probably filthy—even if the keys are clean, you’ll probably find a little dust or some crumbs in its crevices. The folks at Logitech have a solution: a washable keyboard. Rinse off this bad boy in the sink, and you’ll never have a dirty keyboard again. $40 at logitech.com.

Polka dots are a big deal again this season in clothing, but we like them in our home, too. These polka dot cushion covers by Shilpa Rathi are printed with vegetable dye and add a nice design pop to the couch. $50 at abesmarket.com.
