Peruvian Connection A bit of Peru has arrived in Lincoln Park via this new shop featuring women’s clothes made from alpaca fiber and pima cotton. Among the chain store’s most popular items are the original art knits based on designs dreamt up in-house, which takes Andean craftswomen weeks to hand-knit or hand-loom. Consider them an investment; some are $500, but they will still feel new after 15 years. Other items are less pricey, with tees and tanks starting at $29. 925 W Armitage Ave (773-975-4088, peruvianconnection.com).
