DJ Konsept | Steal vs. splurge
With back-to-back gigs every Saturday, DJ Konsept can have you dancing whether your wallet is big or little.

HIGH KONSEPT The DJ’s Evil Olive set will only cost a $5 cover (or less)—no bottle service required.
SPLURGE Saturdays with DJ Konsept at Sub 51 (51 W Hubbard St, 312-828-0051), $245 (average price for bottle service)
STEAL Saturdays with DJ Konsept at Evil Olive (1551 W Division Ave, 773-235-9100), $5 cover (free before midnight)
DJ Konsept can coast from au currant hip-hop bangers to ’80s sing-along anthems, which packs Sub 51 to the rafters with dancing revelers. Reserving bottle service is the only guaranteed in at Sub, and standing room fills up fast. But even if you don’t have a gold card, DJ Konsept’s still within reach: He regularly spins at Evil Olive late night on Saturdays. The Ukie Village hang does not offer Sub 51’s luxury—in fact, when Konsept shows up around 3am, the floor is booze-slick and the crowd is drunk and sweaty. What it lacks in glamour, the party makes up for in pure hedonism. The dance floor rages to Konsept’s more hipster-oriented mix of electro, mash-ups and remixes, and you can, too—without dropping three bills on liquor (drinks average just $7).
