PARK PLACE Forest Park was once a blue-collar suburb, but as its hipness quotient rises, its denizens are more likely to sport headbands than hard hats. Women’s boutique at75eleven houses dreamy dresses by Kara Janx ($385), Miss Me denim with gothic fleur-de-lis detailing ($80) and colorful handbags with huge leather stitching by Los Angeles label Wabags ($140–$500). What really makes our pulse race is an offering of vintage pieces handpicked by owner Lisa Tobias, including a bubbly black Balenciaga dress ($300).
