From hair to there
We're coming clean about the shampoos and conditioners offered at hotels around the city.

Davi at Peninsula Chicago (108 E Superior St, 312-337-2888)
Room rates: start at $550
The 411: Davi products are made with meritage, an antioxidant by-product of winemaking that’s said to rejuvenate hair and skin. While the hotel currently features Molton Brown products, Peninsula has started to introduce the Davi line in its top floor rooms with plans to have it throughout the hotel by next year.
Our take: In our attempts to rinse off the Davi conditioner, we kept scrubbing and scrubbing, but the residue wouldn’t wash away. The thick paste smells of unscented, generic liquid soap.
