Struggling with what to wear to all those fancy bashes this year? Take a cue from the stars of the season's biggest holiday shows.
Last year, Victory Gardens figured out that the best weapon against the crowd-drawing power of Charles Dickens at holiday time is even-more-wintry Hans Christian Andersen. So successful was its hippie musical version of Andersen’s The Snow Queen that the theater’s trotting it back out again this year like your mom’s Nativity set. Blair Robertson and Andrew Keltz star as Nordic tots under the spell of an icy ghost. Victory Gardens Theater at the Biograph, 2433 N Lincoln Ave (773-871-3000, victorygardens.org). Through Dec 23. $20–$45.
