Krysta Tanico, 21, Philadelphia

What have you done so far?
Well, we’re in Millennium Park right now. We went to the free zoo [Lincoln Park Zoo]. I’m a baseball fan, so I went to see Wrigley Field. I bought these cheesy bats and some shot glasses for my drunk roommate.

So those shot glasses will go to good use?
Yeah, they will. She’s probably drunk right now.

Aren’t all the drunk Cubs fans charming?
[Laughs] No, I hated them. They’re pretty obnoxious, especially if you’re from here, right? I ate deep-dish pizza for the first time. That’s pretty Chicago-esque.

Have you partied much?
I went to Danny’s. It’s a pretty hole-in-the-wall dive, but it was cool…a little overly hip. There are lots of spots like that in Philadelphia, though. It’s scenester central. It’s a cheap city and there are four art schools there.

Worst tourist trap you’ve experienced—Navy Pier, perhaps?
I haven’t been there yet, but I will go. I like the tourist traps. I’m a tourist. I want to get trapped. I want to see all the kitschy stuff.

In that case, did you go to the Sears Tower Skydeck?
No, I don’t even know where that is.

Just look for the tallest building ever.
