This week in Around Town| Valentine's Day events for singles, the Chicago Auto Show and fun under the "Bean" at Millennium Park

Luminous Field in Millennium Park
Here's a few going-ons from the Around Town Section in Time Out Chicago magazine.
Couples schmouples. Valentine's Day is for singles too. TOC senior editor Hank Sartin has compiled a empowering and hilarious list of Valentine's Day events for the dateless. Stags can read up on where to eat, drink, boogie and get pampered.
Chrylser's "Halftime in America" Superbowl commercial featuring Clint Eastwood dropped the ball. Viewers barely got a glimpse of any cars. Luckily, the company's new 300 sedan is one of the many vehicles on display at this year's Chicago Auto Show.
Millennium Park is undeniably touristy. Yet, it's also a favorite hang out for a lot of us locals. This month, the crowds should grow larger with new installation, Luminous Field. As if the shiny "Bean" didn't already glisten, Chicago-based artists Luftwerk has created a 10-day light show surrounding the public sculpture.

It's okay to be a show-off.
