Where can you see the Hulk, Voltron, a Mario Brother, the Punisher, the Vision, Ms. Marvel, the Falcon, Lashina and tons of nerds, geeks and pop-culture junkies in one room? The Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo 2012 brought an estimated 40,000 Chicagoans to McCormick Place last weeked.
The three-day event included autograph sessions with artists, actors, comics, writers and more, including John Cusack, Axel Alonso, Sean Astin and Anne Rice. Expo-goers also saw sneak-peek previews of new films and trailers, listened and asked questions during panel discussions and special-guest presentations, and walked around more than 700,000 square feet of exhibit space showcasing comics, apparel, collectibles, video games and more.
