Air & Water Show preview—from inside a plane | Photos
As startling as those early fly-overs can be during the days running up to the Air & Water Show, they're also kinda exciting, yeah? Unless they're scaring the bejesus out of your dog, poor creature. But for those who are not trying to coax a pooch out from under the guest-room bed, it's a great way to build anticipation. And, so are these photos: Photographer Max Herman got a chance to fly with Team AeroShell during one of those test runs, and his photos taken mid-barrel-roll make my stomach do a loop-de-loop. I won't be showing them to my dog. Herman also went up in a plane alongside Sean Tucker of Team Oracle, and got some photos of the famed pilot in action over Chicago's skyline.
