Three sales in Chicago worth checking out

Jayson Home & Garden floor model sale
Our double issue (out this week) is filled with lots of shopping events. These arrived too late to print, but are still worth checking out:
Kokorokoko Need a last-minute plan for Halloween? Head to this vintage shop for it's spooktacular party. All vintage clothing (look for a heavy selection of '80s and '90s duds) is 20% off, refreshments will be served and prizes will be awarded for best costumes. Plus, you can snack on blood popcorn and candy corn. 1323 N Milwaukee Ave (773-252-6996, kokorokokovintage.com). Tonight, 5–9pm.
Nordstrom Women's Half-Yearly sale One of our favorite sales of the year kicks off tomorrow at Nordstrom. The department store marks a huge selection of clothing accessories as much as 50% off. Look for items by Cole Haan, Haute Hippie, Kate Spade and more. The sale also applies to children's merch. (The men's sale takes place later in the year, FYI.) The deals last through November 11, but we suggest hitting this sale up early to take advantage of the best selection. 55 E Grand St (312-464-1515, nordstrom.com). Wed 1–Nov 11.
Jayson Home Warehouse sale Save the dates for November 9–11. That's when Lincoln Park shop Jayson Home opens its warehouse and offers discounts of up to 90% off. The selection here promises to be very good. Expect new and vintage furniture, rugs, lighting, books, holiday decor, lighting and more. The store is also offering a reduced rate delivery fee ($49) for the weekend, so you might as well load up the truck with tons of finds. Get more info here. 701 N Albany Ave. Nov 9–11, 10am–5pm.
