Where to watch the election results tonight

You're probably going to be beside yourself tonight, so why not be be beside other people beside themselves? Anxiety loves company just as much as misery, so if you want to go out and watch the election in a room full of nail-biters, here's where to go:
Ace Bar
Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, there’s one thing we can all agree on. We’re not voting for Sheriff Scabs. The front man will be ending his presidential campaign tour tonight at Ace Bar, along with The Laffing Hyenas, Dana Lynn & the Dirty Creeps and the Plaster Saints, so you can listen to rock tunes while you watch the real race. 1501 W. Aqua Bar and Grill
The Rogers Park bar is serving up $4.70 Red Mitt-tinis or Blue Obama-tinis for those who’ve picked a side in this year’s election. Not a fan of either? Not to worry. Aqua’s got 47 cent “Independent Hot Wings” for everyone in the middle. 1146 W. Pratt Blvd. (773-856-3486) 7pm.
Bar 1 Locations
Stop by any Bar 1 locations across the city—Durkin’s Tavern, Maeve, McGee’s Tavern, Redmond’s Ale House, and Wrightwood Tap—for $0.99 Budweiser drinks all day. Buzz Café
If you think you’re going to need a therapist after the results of tonight’s election, you’re in luck. Buzz Café is providing professional psychological help to customers starting at 6pm. Not into the whole‘therapy thing? The café’s also serving up meatloaf and mashed potatoes in good old-fashioned celebration of the red, white and blue. 905 S. Lombard Ave. (708-524-2899). 6pm.
Crew Bar and Grill
Bring in your "I Voted Today" sticker and receive a free cocktail or domestic draft at Crew Bar and Grill. The sports bar will be televising the results on multiple screens with high volume all night long. 4804 N. Broadway Ave. (773-784-2739).
Crimson Lounge
Looking for great drink specials and a live broadcast? Crimson Lounge might be your viewing party of choice. Election Night 2012 will be streamed on three big screens, plus the lounge is offering $8 Stoli martinis, $6 Stoli mixed drinks, $6 Malibu mixed drinks, and $4 select beers. 333 N. FitzGerald’s
Unless you want to spend the night with the entire Democratic Party of Oak Park, don’t go to FitzGerald’s if you voted for Romney. The SideBar opens at 5pm and Chef Tom "Festival" Cimms plans on whipping up cajun entrees for the donkeys of the West Side. 6615 Roosevelt Rd. (708-788-2118) 6:30pm.
Heartland Café
The Rogers Park café will be broadcasting results live along with a $4 Goose Island draft and a food special that will make your mouth water: beer-braised buffalo brat with sauerkraut and potatoes for $11. 7000 N. Glenwood Ave. (773-465-8005). 6pm.
Hyde Park Hair Salon
While Obama's at McCormick Place, you can be in his neighborhood. Hang out with the president’s old barber at Hyde Park Hair Salon’s election celebration, where they’re serving up food and drinks and broadcasting the results on the big screen. 5324 S. Blackstone Ave. (773-493-6028). 6pm.
Kit Kat Lounge
It’s Tuesday at Kit Kat Lounge, which means fried chicken and waffles plus a glass of champagne for $12.95. It also election night, which means half-priced election themed martinis and appetizers. 3700 N. Halsted St. (773-525-1111) 5:30pm.
Maria’s Packaged Goods and Community Bar
Maria’s gets our vote for best election night cocktail menu. They’re serving up an "Election Selection" of $9 drinks like Oh! Bama, Biden My Time, the Mint Romney, and Ryan’s Song at their Election Brew Ha Ha: The Final Confict. 960 W. 31st St. (773-890-0588) 7pm.
Mayne Stage
Watch the results roll in with the "Chicago Blues Mamas for Obama," a group of ten women who know what they want in a man. The musical event will be hosted by Cookie Taylor with live coverage from the NFL Alumni Association’s Mike Jennings. 1328 W. Morse Ave. (773-381-4554) 7pm. $13.
Red Kiva
The wine bar is serving up half-priced pizzas from 6–7pm, plus $4 domestics and a $5 Kiva special in honor of Election Tuesday. 1108 W. Randolph St. (312-226-5577) 6pm.
Schubas Tavern
After you vote, take your sticker to Schubas to get a free dessert with the purchase of any entrée. There’ll be 312 drafts for $2.50 and a free election-themed Champagne toast while you listen to the rock tunes of The Statues of Liberty. Seven Ultra Lounge
Sing your sorrows away if the results don’t go as planned at "I Love Karaoke" Tuesday until 1am. The Wicker Park bar will also be serving up special election drink and food specials. 1270 N. Milwaukee Ave. (773-342-5282) 6pm.
Standard Bar and Grill
Standard is broadcasting election coverage and serving up themed drinks until all the votes are counted. Bar-goers will also have the chance to participate in their interactive ClicktheCause lounge in support of Family Reading Night at Albany Park. 1332 N. Milwaukee Ave. (773-904-8615) 7pm.
Whirlaway Lounge
No drink specials at Whirlaway Lounge, but who wouldn’t want to watch the election results with maternal owner-bartender, Maria? Head over to the Logan Square watering hole to find out whose face we’ll be seeing a lot more of in the next four years. 3224 W. Fullerton (773-276-6809) 8pm.
