Please welcome our new Food Editor, Amy Cavanaugh
We are thrilled to announce that Amy Cavanough will officially succeed Julia Kramer as our Food Editor starting Monday. Okay, so it's not a huge surprise if you've been paying attention. Amy has been on the eating beat for us of late, enjoying the party at Mott St, sticking with the doughnuts and chicken at Endgrain, and soaking up the scene (and more chicken) at Parson's. Deeply loyal TOC readers with preternatural byline memory might remember her piece on icebox cakes, or her account of falconry (yeah, she dabbles in medieval gamehawking). Amy comes to us from Chicagoist, where she served as Associate Editor. The avid traveler has also written for the A.V. Club, Chicago Tribune and City Eats, to name just a few, and several analogues in the D.C. area.
So please look forward to her take on the Chicago food and drink scene. All of us here certainly are. You can reach her at email@example.com.
