Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust moves into Rookery
Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust—the non-profit that runs and preserves Wright’s Oak Park Home and Studio and Hyde Park's iconic Robie House—is moving into some new digs. Well, new to it. Yesterday, FLWPT announced it will be relocating its development, membership, events, communications and guest relations divisions to the Loop-located Rookery, an 1888 Burnham and Root building that features lobbies and a light court remodeled by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1905. The FLWPT plans to open a gift shop in the Rookery (209 S LaSalle St) and offer free tours of the beautiful building in early 2011.
