New Video section debuts
The way people watch movies is changing, and we're changing with it. In addition to coverage of DVD releases, our New Video section now brings you articles, reviews and news about films being offered on demand through the various cable and satellite providers, and the latest on streaming online films on the internet. The brave new world of movies through computers, cable and satellite is still rather like the Wild West, with so many players, standards and pathways of access that you can be excused for feeling bewildered. That's where we come in.
So whether your films are landing in your mailbox from Netflix, appearing on your television from Comcast, DirecTV or Dish, or streaming on your computer, we'll be writing about them, and about this complex, sometimes confusing new world of digital film.
