JFL adds new faces to its 2010 lineup
My lukewarm reception to the 2010 Just For Laughs Chicago (headlined once again by Ellen Degeneres) has finally faded as recently added talent to this year's fest promises another winning year. It was announced this morning that comic Patton Oswalt will headline a night of alt joke tellers also featuring Maria Bamford and Chris Hardwick. I couldn't be happier. The Second City, which declined getting involved with JFL last year because of its 50th anniversary gala, will host a Class of '79 reunion show featuring George Wendt, Tim Kazurinsky and Danny Breen among others. Again, more happiness. Also, the very funny JB Smoove, recent sidekick to Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm, will host a night of comedy as his Curb alter ego Leon Black. Happy, happy. Finally, Adam Carolla will host a live version of his podcast from the Park West and Rob Corddry and the team behind the ridiculous and brilliantly offensive Adult Swim farce Childrens' Hospital will perform live.
At last, I'm counting down the days until June 15.
