Urban Outfitters announces bridal shop

If you're planning on getting engaged anytime soon, hold off with the wedding just a little bit longer. Urban Outfitters, Inc. (the umbrella for Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, Terrain and Leifsdottir) just announced that it's planning to launch a stand-alone bridal brand (currently unnamed) in Spring 2011. According to the release, the collection will feature heirloom wedding gowns, bridesmaid and occasion dresses, accessories, decorations, intimates and gifts. So basically Urban can outfit the entire affair. Gowns will range in price from $750 to $5,000. Look for an e-commerce site followed by a few brick-and-mortar locales in the U.S.
