Sci-Fi Strip-Tacular at the Viaduct Theater: Photo gallery
Saturday night, the Viaduct Theater was a playground for vampires, heroes, aliens, Batman and big-eyed bugs. Flesh Tones Burlesque and Hot & Heavy Burlesque hosted "Sci-Fi Strip-Tacular," and the dancers and performers warned the audience beforehand that they would "specialize in perverting your favorite childhood memories." Multiple burlesque dancers plopped right down on lucky audience members' laps mid-performance while others swirled Hula-hoops around the body or defeated evil villains with a plastic water gun. All that plus an array of costumes, variety of music and classic sci-fi trivia made it difficult for anyone to leave disengaged. Photos by Amy Mokris
