Suburban fests: Vikings invade Geneva

Geneva's 60th Annual Swedish Days Festival concluded Sunday with an 82-part parade that featured Vikings, clowns and a seemingly never-ending stream of old men in tiny cars. The parade, which also included local politicians and countless elementary and high-school dance/cheerleading groups, began at 1pm on Anderson Boulevard and ended two hours later at the Geneva Metra Station. Missed it? We took some snapshots, just for you.
