Chicagoland Bicycle Federation's Sunday Parkways program says goodbye moto
The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation has announced the dates of its Sunday Parkways program, which will close some Chicago streets to automotive traffic on October 5 and 26 from 9am to 1pm. Those on foot, bike, stroller or utilizing other non-motorized forms of locomotion (sorry, Prius owners!) are encouraged to take to the boulevards of Chicago, though cross streets along the route will remain vehicle-laden.
The CBF has a rough map up on its site, but it's a bit hard to follow the exact route. After the jump, I've posted the turn-by-turn directions, courtesy of CBF's community liaison Adolfo Hernandez, and some helpful Google Maps of the route, courtesy of some unexpected free time I had this afternoon.
