Even more TJ Miller? That's not possible!

Posted in #Chicago blog by Steve Heisler on Jun 10, 2008 at 2:07pm

I just got a press release from The Improv, the largest dedicated stand-up venue in the greater Chicagoland area. And it looks like TJ Miller, a much-written about stand-up comic recently transplanted to Los Angeles, is going to be headlining there over the 4th of July weekend. Recently you may have seen him in ABC's short-lived Bruce McCullough sitcom Carpoolers or in the J.J. Abrams film Cloverfield as Hud the camera guy; even more recently you may have caught him at Chicago Underground Comedy (you can see the video at our new TOC Comedy Facebook page).

But it seems the Improv publicity people are pumped as well—they couldn't wait to tout this exciting event by combining as many of his credits as possible into one incomplete, incorrect sentence:

“HUD” FROM THE ABC SERIES CARPOOLERS

Whoops!

Still, maybe the comedy community's sentiment at this year's Chicago Comedy Awards—where they sang a song entitled "TJ Went Right Where We Went Wrong" to the tune of "Love Lift Us Up"—wasn't that far off.
