Valentine's Day is for fools?
No way! Okay, sometimes people buy a little too much into the commercialism of Valentine's Day. But the spirit of being focused on love, relationships, passion and crushes is kind of nice (I think). At least as long as you don't get too "couple-y" and make other people feel bad if they aren't in a relationship.
Personally, I think Valentine's Day 2008 is so far shaping up to be pretty awesome. [Note: What follows is somewhat NSFW if naughty words are an issue for your workplace.]
It started, after all, with Jane Fonda saying the word "cunt" on The Today Show - yeah, you can guess the startled reaction that was met with. And it will likely end - at least for me - with DVRing Lost and watching it late at night after coming home from a to-be-determined movie. (Yes, that means you can likely find me on Steve Heisler's Lost Me Tender blog comments section in the next few days.)
If you haven't already seen the Jane Fonda slip, you can view it here.
