Date our friends: Meet Lisa
Before we discuss the third of our four friends who's looking for love, a reminder that you have until tomorrow to email us if you're interested in Dawn, Todd, Lisa or Rob. You also have until tomorrow to vote on where they'll go on their dates. Visit their profile pages above for information on how to get in touch with our sexy, single friends or vote on their dates.
And with that, I'd like to introduce you to Lisa Thompson.
The director of a non-profit organization for youth called Blue Sky Inn, Lisa is also a voracious reader, and funny as hell, according to her friend, TOC's Senior Eat Out writer David Tamarkin. He also says that Lisa defies expectations. "She's a public-radio-listening director of a non-profit who doesn't talk like a public-radio-listening director of a non-profit. She isn't constantly telling people that they need to use less water, eat more organic foods, address their inner racist, etc. She's totally normal and fun."
And if you need an extra pair of hands for some do-it-yourself home projects, Lisa's your woman. David again: "You know what she asked for for Christmas? A sander. A freakin' SANDER! So she can work on refurbishing antique furniture in her apartment on the Saturday nights when she doesn't go out."
Lest you think Lisa is purely a stay-at-home type, I'll remind you that she's a fan of indie films, was likely to be found at last week's Cat Power show and can go toe-to-toe with the best of them at the bar.
In short, David says, "she's fucking rad."
