Brookfield Zoo: Bears supporting Bears
This morning, at the Brookfield Zoo, 16-year-old grizzly bears Axhi and Jim showed their solidarity with the Chicago Bears by ripping apart a cheese-head hat. They then pumped their fists in the air and belted out "Bear Down, Chicago Bears" in a beautiful two-part harmony. (Nah. What really happened according to zoo spokeswoman Sondra Katzen: "The zoo’s staff made a paper-mâché cheesehead hat sporting the Packers’ logo. Each item was filled with some of the bears’ favorite foods—meat and vegetables.")
