The Royal George Cabaret brings a bit of Nashville to Chicago.

Beginning October 11, the Royal George Cabaret (1641 N Halsted St) will preview The Doyle & Debbie Show. Set in Nashville, the story follows Doyle Mayfield, an old-school country star with a couple of hits in the ’70s and ’80s trying to have a comeback after four wives, three Debbie’s and 30 years later. Featuring all original songs, this comedy parodies country music’s tradition of thrusting iconic duos into the spotlight and the battle of the sexes that accompanies them.
