The Museum of Science and Industry got even more fun with the arrival of the whimsical traveling exhibit “There’s Fun to Be Done! Dr. Seuss & the Art of Invention.” An overview of the acclaimed author-illustrator’s career, including an early stint in advertising, it features a timeline with interesting facts (“Seuss,” which actually rhymes with “voice,” was Theodor Geisel’s mother’s maiden name and Theodor’s middle name) to accompany anticipated artwork. While much of the text (and one surprisingly racy drawing) caters to nostalgic adults, kids’ entertainment includes a captivating interactive station.
